Membership

Please contact the Cogan Society President, John Gittinger (John.Gittinger@meei.harvard.edu; 617 573-6948), for information about membership, which requires:

         1. Nomination by an active member;

         2. Submission of a letter of interest and curriculum vitae demonstrating a commitment to

ophthalmic history;

         3. Acceptable presentation at an annual meeting of the Society.

Dues

Annual dues for 2024 are $200 for all members.

Donations to the Cogan Society

Please consider a donation to support COHS programs and increase interest in ophthalmic history with a gift to either of these funds:

--Fund for Trainee Support:  This fund, established in 2012, provides funds to support registration and related expenses for students and trainees in medicine, ophthalmology, or vision, who are interested in ophthalmic history.  

--General Payments and Donations to COHS: Use this option for payments others than dues and meeting registration, or for general donations to COHS. To make a donation in memory or honor of someone, please include that information in the "Additional information/note" field during checkout.

The Cogan Society is a 501(c)(3) organization, EIN 46-4330500, thus donations are deductible to the extent allowed by the Internal Revenue Service.
